Christmas 2010

Happily sitting in a sea of presents...

Christmas 2010 was, mostly, perfect.*  We had our pretty little girl dressed up in lovely baby dresses. There was clean white snow on the ground. And Christopher was old enough to understand the concept of Santa and presents (which was fantastic for bribery the month leading up to Christmas Day: “Do you want Santa to come? Then you have to eat those green beans…”).

Because this Christmas was filled with so many memories, one blog post won't cover it all - so over the next few days I will share Christmas photos and stories, I hope you enjoy!

SO... Is it odd that I'm occasionally happy when there is a spit up or diaper situation and I have to change Emmy's outfit in the middle of the day?

What We've Been Waiting For...

Well, it's been a roller coaster, but after several years of hoping, praying & waiting - she's here, snuggled up, sleeping peacefully in my arms.

How did we get so lucky?
