Todays Perk of Being a Mama - Love

Lately, Christopher has started saying "I love you Daddy..." or "I love you Mommy..." He says it in a voice that is crystal clear -so there is never confusion on what he is saying. Also, the way he says "love" is so genuine, so sweet. Of course he said "I love you, Daddy" before he said it to me, but I have to let that go. :) It never, ever gets old to hear him say it.

Todays Perk of Being a Mama - Big Boy Underwear

Well, ready or not - Chris is ready for potty training - but am I? While I decide (really, it is not my choice), I guess I can just admire these cute little big boy underpants. And yes, I guess I have turned into the type of person who discusses, in public, underwear/potty usage/etc - all the things I swore I would never do...

Todays Perk of Being a Mama - No Picture Me

Christopher turned two last week, so I had to take him to have his picture taken. When we (Christopher, me, my mom) arrived, C immediately started crying "No picture me! NO. PICTURE. ME!" He cried, he sobbed, he protested when I attempted to change his clothes. Then, the camera came out and my little ham smiled and posed his way through over a hundred photos. Here are a few that I love (not all of them made it to print, but I still thought it was sweet):

SO STRONG!

Todays Perk of Being a Mama - Dimples

Here are Christopher and his Buddy Grant happily waiting for a little dinner. Look at their dimples- how cute are dimples? And I finally see a little of myself in C, which makes me happy (until recently he has been an absolute clone of his daddy).

Todays Perk of Being a Mama - Say CHEESE

For his 2nd birthday present, Christopher's uncles bought him a few outfits - including this cute little hat. In this picture, Christopher has managed to come out of his shell just a little bit to model the hat. :) Can't you just see him saying the word "CHHHHHEEEEEESE!" in this picture?
